Giorgio Armani, testimonial dress for Screen Actors Guild Awards partecipants
GIORGIO ARMANI DRESSES SAG AWARDS PARTICIPANTS
Several nominees, presenters and guests of the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be dressed by Giorgio Armani. The show will take place on Sunday evening, January 29, 2012, from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center, where it will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 5:00 pm PST.
George Clooney will wear a Giorgio Armani classic tuxedo. Clooney is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for “The Descendants.”
Guy Pearce will wear a Giorgio Armani black two-button microfiber notch lapel tuxedo with a black classic evening shirt and a neck tie. Pearce is nominated for his role in “Mildred Pierce,” in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries.
Mike Vogel, a member of the cast of “The Help,” will wear a Giorgio Armani black one-button peak lapel classic suit with a white shirt and a black neck tie. “The Help” is nominated in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Cory Monteith, who stars in “Glee,” will wear a Giorgio Armani two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and a black bow tie. “Glee” is nominated in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Chord Overstreet, a member of the ensemble cast of “Glee,” will wear a Giorgio Armani navy pinstripe two-button peak lapel suit with a classic white shirt and a navy neck tie. “Glee” is nominated in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Actress Gina Rodriguez will wear a custom black Giorgio Armani gown with a plunging back. The dress features cap sleeves and is covered in textured diagonal lines. An asymetrical seam near the bottom creates a slight balloon effect midway down the leg. Gina has recently garnered critical acclaim for her leading role in the Sundance hit, “Filly Brown.”
